Many companies charge $60+ an hour, which leaves you not knowing what your total project is going to cost. For a flat fee we will take your description and design a custom button for you. You will receive a digital proof prior to production and have the opportunity to request revisions. It is very rare that a customer requires more than one revision.

How much does design service cost?
Our design services range from $0 to $25 depending on your needs. Print Ready No Proof is free if you provide finished artwork. Print Ready & Proof is $10, Text/Modify & Proof is $15, Full Design & Proof is $25, and Modify Catalog Designs is $10. Unlike many competitors, we don't charge additional setup fees on top of these prices.
What's included with each design option?
Each paid design option includes at least one digital proof and one or more free revisions. Print Ready & Proof and Modify Catalog Designs include 1 proof and 1 revision. Text/Modify & Proof and Full Design & Proof include 1 proof and 2 revisions. Additional revisions beyond what's included are only $10 each.
How long does it take to receive my proof?
Most proofs are delivered within 1-2 business days after you place your order. Our experienced design team works quickly to get your proof to you so you can approve it and get your buttons into production as soon as possible.
What if I don't like my proof?
No problem! Every design option (except Print Ready No Proof) includes at least one free revision. Simply let us know what changes you'd like and we'll update your design. It's very rare that a customer requires more than one revision, but additional revisions are available for just $10 each if needed.
Can I send my own logo or photos?
Yes! After you place your order, you can email us your logos, photos, or any other images you'd like included in your button design. Our Full Design & Proof option ($25) is perfect for creating custom buttons that incorporate your own images along with text and other design elements.
What file formats do you accept for print-ready artwork?
For print-ready artwork, we accept high-resolution files in PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), PSD (Photoshop), PNG, and JPG formats. Your artwork should be created at the correct size using our templates and include proper bleed. Visit our Templates page to download the correct template for your button size.
Do I need design experience to order custom buttons?
Not at all! That's exactly why we offer our design services. If you don't have design experience, we highly recommend choosing one of our design options. Our award-winning designers create thousands of buttons each year and will make sure your buttons turn out great. Just describe what you want and we'll handle the rest.
Is there a setup fee?
No! Unlike many of our competitors who charge a standard setup fee on top of design services, Affordable Buttons has no hidden fees. The design service price you see is all-inclusive. This transparent pricing means you know exactly what your project will cost upfront with no surprises.
Can I use AI tools like ChatGPT to create my design?
Absolutely! We encourage customers to use ChatGPT to create their own button designs - it's a great way to save money on design fees. We even have a free Prompt Builder that helps you create the perfect prompt for ChatGPT. Just upload your AI-generated design when placing your order and select our AI-Assisted Design & Proof option for $10. We'll add the proper bleed required for button production and send you a proof for approval before we print.
